A Thero.org account can be useful for anyone looking for mental health resources, but licensed therapists, psychologist, counselors, psychiatrists and doctors will find it particularly useful. This article shows you (and them) what the features of each account type are and how to sign up.
Visit thero.org/signup. There's three types of accounts on Thero.org:
Anyone can sign up and use our Folders feature that makes it easy to build collections of resources and share them with colleagues, friends or family.
These are individual treatment providers who are licensed to provider therapy or counseling by the state. These include Counselors, Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Medical Doctors and Nurses. You don't need to have a private practice because we're more than just a mental health resource directory. We have a job board with over 1000 jobs. Licensed providers can search for a job or post a job opening.
Clinics, Hospitals, and Treatment Centers - Any facility that is licensed to provide mental health services are welcome to take control of their listings and then create a listing for the clinic(s). If it's not already listed there visit thero.org/suggest to submit your resources. We'll verify it and add it to the directory.
Crisis Lines and Advocacy Organizations - Any organization that provides advocacy, support, case management or crisis intervention can take over their listing in our directory. If it's not already listed there visit thero.org/suggest to submit your resources. We'll verify it and add it to the directory.
